Mark Kieswetter was my musical director for more than a decade. He did most of my arrangements and produced my album. He passed away in April 2025 after a long struggle with a rare debilitating illness, during which time he became my teacher and musical mentor.

This concert features a stellar array of Toronto jazz performers, all donating their talents to honour Mark and raise money for music education. Tickets are by donation.

Ilana Waldston and the Jazz’n’Laughs band bring you an evening of swinging jazz tunes, romantic ballads, sultry latin numbers and a good smattering of comedic material.

Known for her warm vocals and quirky song choices, Ilana has been entertaining at clubs all over Toronto for almost 20 years. She’s joined on the bandstand by stellar musicians Stu Harrison on keys (Matt Dusk, Billy Newton-Davis) and Ross MacIntyre on bass (Jesse Cook, Emilie-Claire Barlow). An evening with Ilana and friends is always a recipe for a good time!
