Come join us at Toronto's longest-running and much-beloved "Lisa Particelli's GNO Vocalist-Friendly Jazz Jam"!
Hosting on behalf of Lisa will be Sam Broverman and Ilana Waldston. In our wonderful house band, we have Peter Hill on keys (Rob Thaller will sub this week) and Jordan O'Connor on bass.
Sing a tune with our terrific band if you like! Either bring a couple of lead sheets, or choose a jazz standard and the band will help you find your key. Singers at all levels are welcome. You'll be cheered on by our wonderful and supportive GNO regulars. DON'T SING? Come and enjoy an exciting variety of singers in a fun, convivial atmosphere; it's always a great hang. PWYC $10 to $20 suggested, cash preferred. The Kingston House has terrific food and a lovely lower level room for the music (thekingstonhouse.ca). Space is limited though, so reservations are suggested. Call 416-694-8888 and ask for the lower level.
Accessibility: event space is down a flight of stairs. Restrooms are on that same level. Safety: The microphone is sanitized between singers. Two HEPA filters will be running during the jam. The event is mask-friendly
